Largai House Laikipia, KenyaLocation: Laragai is situated on Borana Ranch, a 35,000-acre wildlife rich, private, working cattle ranch, 16 miles from the equator, adjacent to the Lewa Wildlife Conservancy. It is built on the Mokogodo Escarpment over looking the Northern Frontier. Over 300 species of birds and a wide diversity of wildlife inhabit this area.

Grandeur, opulence and splendour describe this sumptuous house – everything is there to ensure you have a totally unforgettable experience. The house is booked on an exclusive-use basis, which also means that children a re very welcome.

Accommodation & Facilities: Laragai has six spacious guest rooms decorated in a luxurious up-country style. Two rooms have an open fireplace, and all have en suite bathroom with a giant bath and shower. There also are two children’s rooms with shared bathroom.

The house features a huge sitting room with fireplace at each end, spacious dining room, decks, a games / TV room, a stunning pool with a magnificent pool house where lunch is served, and a tennis court

Just got back last night - what a trip! Kenya versus Botswana.... It is a hard question to answer and something I have been thinking about a lot over the past 2 weeks. Botswana is very different - I like that there are less people and that you are on a private concession. But, on the other hand, it seems like you really need to visit at least 3 camps to really see everything. I think for someone like me, Botswana is really a great place to go - since I know I will go again and experience the other camps. But for people who are going only once in a lifetime, then I think I am inclined to suggest Kenya - you see it all at once and stay at one camp.
