Ol Seki Mara CampOl Seki Camp is situated on a wonderful rocky promontory in the northern Mara, with the Il Supukiai River below. This seasonal camp enjoys panoramic views in a gorgeous wilderness area north of the Mara. The beautifully designed tents are nestled amongst Cordia and Acacia trees. Ol Seki was opened in July 2005 by Sue Allan who has run luxury safaris for 35 years throughout Kenya and East Africa with her company.

Description

Game Viewing

The Masai Mara hosts the natural phenomenon of th Great Migration each year from July to October.

ol Seki Mara Camp - DiningApart from the Migration the park is popular because of the variety, number and accessibility of wildlife.

The reserve is one of the few places in Kenya where you can see large cats and even observe prides of lion hunting, especially around the Musiara swamps.

The elusive cheetah and leopard also seem to be a little more willing to show themselves.

The park teems with buffalo, zebra and various antelopes. Impala, wildebeest, Grant' s and Thomson' s gazelle, Kirk' s dik-dik and topi roam in groups. The black rhino is far harder to spot due to poachers. The common Masai giraffe mingle with baboons, elephants, warthogs and hyena.

Louis I had meant to get back with you as well. This was the trip of a lifetime! We had such an incredible experience. Cape Town was wonderful--perfect weather. Mala Mala was undoubtedly our favorite. Saw so much game and the guides now feel like extended family members. Vic Falls was beautiful but we weren't too crazy about the Zimbabwe experience. We didn't read enough of the fine print here--we might have been better off on the Zambia side. Seba Camp was the perfect ending to a memorable trip. I have 2000 photos and 3+ hours of video. It will be months of editing before I have something anyone will want to sit through! Thanks for all your help. We have some friends that will likely be contacting you to duplicate our trip!
