Sosian lodge is a beautifully restored African ranch house that was built in the 1940’s by Italian artisans, and accommodates up to fourteen people in the atmosphere of a private home. Seven cottages lie in the tropical garden overlooking Mt Kenya and miles of unspoiled Africa,
As well as all the exciting safari activities on offer each day, the lodge has a swimming pool, tennis court and miles of wilderness to explore with top guides. Sosian is well known for its delicious home cooking using fresh ingredients from the organic vegetable garden and for its warm and friendly hospitality.
Activities
Sosian has amazing wildlife, all of Africa's large mammals apart from rhino are here. Elephant, giraffe, hippos, lion, leopard, cheetah, hyena, African wild dog, zebra, antelopes, warthogs and a plethora of beautiful birds.Sosian is incredibly diverse and there are so many different activities to enjoy whilst game watching which makes it a very special place and a good contrast to Kenya's national parks where one tends to be limited to viewing game from a vehicle.
